The Australian Writers Guild presents: Writing for Animation!
Talking animals, exploding aliens, fantastic worlds… all of your most surreal ideas (and more!) are possible when you’re writing for animation! Join us as we dig into this weird, wild and wonderful world with an experienced panel who have written and produced shows for the ABC, Nickelodeon, Adult Swim, Fox Animation, Bento Box and more.
Guests include writer / creator Marisa Nathar (co-creator of Happy House), producer Nick Colla (Latenite Films), writer / animators Millie Holten (Long Head) and Michael Greaney (Weird Times In Hillside), writer / showrunner Tim Bain (Knee High Spies, Kangaroo Beach) and writer / development exec Marisa Nanakhorn-Brown (Spooky Files, Princess Pictures). This is a great chance for JMC students to connect with other creatives and start building their pathway into the industry!
